  • I began diving in 1978 while still in high school, and dove pretty often for about 5 years. Sadly life provided a longer than planned surface interval. Now, after raising two beautiful daughters that are both divers I have begun again to enjoy this incredible sport. Recently completed both Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air through PADI, and am beginning to work on my Rescue Diver. I prefer the temps of the Carribean waters, however I also enjoy both lake & quarry diving too. Looking forward to earning both my PADI Divemaster and NAUI Technical Diver licensees as I plan to continue diving as long as life allows!

    2009-12-23 Mexico Cozumel
    Dive Paradise Shore Dive

    First dive for Madalyn - Excellent! Current was the slowest I have ever experienced in Cozumel. We were able to kick from coral out-croppings in every direction. Vis was a litte hazy due to this slower current. Ramone said tide was shifting, causing these calm conditions. We saw more lobsters than usual, and becasue the sun was setting the large crab had started coming out on open sand. Ramone showed Madalyn a few things she could touch, and we saw huge sea worms, coral of all kinds, turtles and one large shark swimming around us. Sun setting when we came up - BEAUTIFUL DIVE - Maddie was in awe.

    Paradise Reef (Night Dive)

    Lots of activity lobster, big king crab, Octopus, Ell, Sea worms & cucumbers. All kinds of fish . . . several groupers. Had a few inexperienced divers on boat - went through their air very very quickly. Beautiful dive!!
