UNDERWATER NAVIGATION DIVE FOR AOWD. Through the dive I was shown certain spots that I was supposed to find on the way back. It was all together 4spots and I was supposed to use compass. Well to be honest I did not manage at all. I was not paying the attention enough and did find only one. Ooops. The corals are so amazing here. Anyway have finished my AOWD course.

I decided to do AOW in Bonaire as I wanted to dive as much as possible and also to see the wreck. And as the wreck is 30m deep I had to extend my certification to AOW. The first dive was AWARE-FISH IDENTIFICATION. And actually for the first time I have enjoyed looking for fishes. Have seen so many speciaes as the waters here are super rich. Interesting was, that species by the shore were not not in the deeper waters. Loved it.

At the beginning of the dive I was told we are doong "negative entry". I did not know what that is, unlike my dive buddies with 100+ dives. It was so much stress before as I didn't have any experiences with strong current. At the beginning of the dive I was breathing like crazy as I was very nervous. In a very short time I used 20% of my air so knew I have to slow down my breathing. And I managed. In the end half of divers went up earlier and I did stay as I had more air! I was so proud of myself! On the way up we had to find a spot for safety stop, which was difficult with the strong current. I grabbed a little piece of rock and tried to hang in there. I managed and was happy to get up on board. Through the whole dive we basically been sitting in the water and the current was takong us around small island. So great Have seen shark, quite small and very far. Saw turtle again. Huge schools of fishes. Same fishes as previous dive.

NIGHTDIVE as part of AOW. We just went into the sea from the shore by the dive school. We went in and saw "ostracods", which is sort of plancton that illuminates in the water when you move your hands quickly in the water and sort of stir it. Also saw tarpons. Huge fishes that hunt little fishes at night. So we were lightning with our flashlight in front of them so they can see those little fishes and hunt them. It was great. Dive was not easy at all, it was little too much to handle for the first time nightdiving. I was checking all the time where my buddy was. Was diving with some cool dudes, older, gay. Went for dinner the other night and it was nice.
